Free Token Deals Worth Checking Out This Month
If you’ve been around the AI space for a while, you know the free credit game changes fast. Deals come and go. Some platforms expand their free tiers, others pull the plug overnight. This month is no exception.
I went through everything that’s still active in July 2026 and put together this roundup. A few notable new players showed up, some existing deals got sweeter, and yes, a couple quietly ended. Here’s what’s actually worth your time.
New This Month
Meituan LongCat (2.0-Preview)
This is the most interesting new free deal I’ve seen this month. Meituan’s self-developed LongCat model platform (longcat.chat) is now in public beta and handing out a surprisingly generous free tier. New users get 10 million Tokens, valid for 30 days. Worth grabbing while it’s available.
SenseNova (Shanghai AI Lab)
A few readers flagged this one in the comments last month, and I gave it a proper test run. SenseNova comes from Shanghai AI Lab, a company solid enough that the US Treasury put it on an investment blacklist. The free tier is extended through the end of July. Four models available: SenseNova 6.7 Flash Lite, SenseNova U1 Fast, DeepSeek V4 Flash, and GLM 5.2. Rate limit is 1,500 calls every 5 hours – solid deal.
SiliconFlow New Models
SiliconFlow dropped two new models in July: GLM-Z1-9B-0414 and GLM-4-9B-0414, both currently free to use. New user registration still comes with 20 million permanent free Tokens – good for heavy batch tasks or stress testing. The referral program for platform-wide credit vouchers is still active too.
Still Going Strong
OpenCode Zen
OpenCode’s Zen tier keeps rotating free models. The current free lineup as of this month: DeepSeek V4 Flash Free, MiMo-V2.5 Free, Nemotron 3 Super Free, MiniMax M2.5 Free, and Qwen3.6 Plus Free. Fair warning – the free model pool updates on a rolling basis, so what you see when you log in might differ from what I listed here.
Setup is straightforward: grab your Zen Key from the website, paste it into your client settings, and you’re connected. Free models show up in your model picker once you’re set up.
NVIDIA NIM
NVIDIA’s free model catalog on NIM has expanded to 76 models as of July – DeepSeek, Llama, Qwen, GLM, Nemotron series, all available. Rate limit is 40 requests per minute for free accounts, which covers personal dev work and testing just fine. Pick your model from the Model page (anything marked Free Endpoint works), grab your API key from the dashboard, and you’re good.
Agnes AI
Agnes AI’s three original free models – Agnes 2.0 Flash (text), Agnes Image 2.0 Flash (image), and Agnes Video V2.0 (video) – remain free with no end date. There’s also a newer Agnes Image 2.1 Flash quietly available. Looking ahead, Agnes Image 2.5 Preview and Agnes Video 2.5 Preview are on deck and likely to be free as well when they drop.
Hermes and StepFun
The Hermes + StepFun collaboration that started in June actually got better in July. The Nous Portal subscription now includes three completely free models instead of one: Step 3.7 Flash, Nemotron 3 Ultra, and Owl Alpha. Open Hermes terminal, run hermes model, select Nous Portal, subscribe through the link that pops up, and you’re set.
Zhipu AI
Zhipu’s free tier for new users stays at 20 million Tokens. No changes here, but still one of the better signup bonuses available.
Volcengine
Volcengine’s new user offer is unchanged from the 618 promotion – 500,000 Tokens per model after identity verification, with caps reaching up to 25 million Tokens depending on the model. AliCloud Bailian integration still works here too, shared quota with other tools.
AliCloud Bailian
AliCloud Bailian connects with OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, and Claude Code – same quota, unified billing. New registrations get 1 million free Tokens covering qwen3.7-plus and deepseek-v4-flash. Different regions use different endpoints; create your key from the dashboard and pick the right URL for your location.
Tencent Marvis
Marvis is still at it – 10 million Tokens daily from Tencent’s HuanYuan model series, no invite code needed, available on Windows, Mac, and Android. More than enough for daily tasks and a genuinely low-friction setup.
OpenRouter
OpenRouter’s Free Models Router is still running from June. A mix of Qwen models and DeepSeek R1 available. Check the Free Models Router ranking to see what other users are picking – community signals help when you’re deciding between similar options.
OpenAI
OpenAI’s documented free credits for developers are still accessible through official channels. The educator program and developer project tiers both have active free offerings – check the OpenAI Platform page for current terms and limits.
Deals That Ended or Changed
Qoder – Free Qwen3.7-Max Is Gone
The daily 200 free calls for Qwen3.7-Max on Qoder ended as scheduled on June 22. What’s left is a limited-time half-price deal, not free. If you grabbed it while it lasted, you came out ahead. Qoder tends to run similar flash promotions, so keeping an eye on their official channels is worth it if you use the platform.
Touch AI – Xiaomi Mimo Free Trial Ended
The 14-day Xiaomi Mimo free trial on Touch AI (June 1-14) is over. There’s no free Token left on Touch AI at the moment. If you specifically want Xiaomi Mimo, the Xiaomi MiMo official platform has its own free trial credits available.
Mango AI – Now Paid
Mango AI moved to a paid model starting in June. Skip this one unless you’re specifically looking for their paid tier.
How to Make the Most of Free Credits
One thing I’ve noticed after years of chasing free credits: they come with an expiration date by nature. The free AI landscape isn’t shrinking, but the players shuffle constantly. Some platforms pull deals without warning, others expand aggressively, and new entrants like Meituan keep showing up to shake things up.
My advice for anyone getting started: claim every free tier you can, then run real tasks through them. Writing, coding, image generation – test each one with actual work, not toy prompts. That way you quickly learn which platforms actually perform and which ones just sound impressive in a headline.
If you’ve found a free Token deal that isn’t on this list, drop it in the comments. I’m always looking to expand the roundup, and so are the other readers.
